Commuting to and from work isn’t fun…unless you make it fun! There are plenty of ways to improve the commute you’re forced to make every morning and evening, and some of these suggestions may even make you refreshed and even sexy!

Get Hydrated!

We don’t drink enough water on a daily basis. So grab your caffeine by all means, but also order a large ice water with your coffee or soda. Or better yet skip the soda and coffee all together! Just sip your water all the way to work and you’ll start your day with better hydration and even ward off headaches later in the day.

Enjoy Your Mind!

Having time in silence is better than sex! Just enjoy your time to be wild and free with your thoughts while you drive. Turn off the music, enjoy the silence and you’ll be amazed at how much more relaxed and prepared you are at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day. For those traveling home to families, this downtime may be the only quiet time you have all day!

Are you doing all of your daily exercises? Kegels are a popular exercise for pregnant women and those who have just delivered, but we can all do a better job of keeping our pelvic floors fit and firm. While you’re driving just stop an imaginary stream of pee. Stop. Start. Stop. Start. You’ll be amazingly fit in no time!

In a busy life, friends sometimes get the shaft. But not anymore! Take advantage of the hands-free device that came with your phone and make some calls while you’re driving. Be careful, of course, and don’t look away from the road while you’re driving. But as you stop and start in traffic you can touch base with two friends every day on your way home making your life richer for the connections in it.
